For over a decade, Amaxra has continually looked for ways to help our customers become productive. Like many other companies, we chose to invest in cloud-based services like Microsoft Office 365, Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management (CRM), SharePoint Online, Skype for Business, and Teams. These are the essential business productivity tools that our consultants use every day to help your company get ahead and stay ahead of the competition. But we are always asking: “How can these tools make Amaxra and our customers even more productive?”
That’s why Amaxra has been working with an elite selection of independent software developers and an invitation-only group of our existing clients to test seven value-added enhancements to the Microsoft services we offer. Contributors to our test program were excited by how these new enhancements:
- Provided measurable gains in their ability to better collaborate internally
- Enabled them to better engage externally with their customers
- Gave them access to essential business assurances
Amaxra is now making these seven enhancements publicly available. Here are the six ways these value-added enhancements to can supercharge your business’ productivity:
1. Save money on your subscription licensing
As we work with more and more subscription customers we see many customers paying for licenses they don’t need or incorrectly combining licenses together resulting in higher costs. Amaxra will do an audit of your licensing at no charge as part of moving you to Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Provider model. It won’t cost you any more and, in many cases, actually ends up saving some money. Give us a chance to review your licensing and see if we are able to save you some money–especially before Microsoft’s upcoming price increase occurring in October 2018. Amaxra customers will be protected for the length of their agreement (usually one year).
Each Dynamics 365 customer will also receive two months free of our new QuickHelp Online training which is an excellent way to get your team more comfortable with the productivity-enhancing aspects of Dynamics 365 CRM and Office 365.
2. Protect and recover your company’s valuable data
It’s a misconception that if you work in the cloud then your work is automatically being backed up. But when an Outlook email or Excel file is deleted, let alone a folder tree in OneDrive or SharePoint – within a short amount of time – it’s gone. If you want emails and/or files to be backed up and available for retrieval, even for a period of months if needed, then you should consider adding Amaxra Online Backup as part of your infrastructure.
You can choose Amaxra Online Backup on a per-user basis or purchase it for a specific server or computer in your office. You can also purchase backup directly at a cost of $8.00 per 50GB, and then an additional $0.16 per GB after the 50GB. This is useful if you have a server in your office for which you need to have a reliable cloud backup instantly available. We charge a one-time flat fee of $350 per company to show you how to configure the backup for your environment, which includes documentation.
Adding this capability into your environment is very easy. We will upgrade your Office 365 license to include the required backup, and then show you how to use. For approximately $3 – $4.50 per extra per user per month (depending on the solution being backed-up) you get up to 10GB online backup. For example, Office 365 Business Premium currently costs $12.50 per user/month. If you add Amaxra Online Backup, it becomes $15.50 per user/month. Note that this is different than the Online Archiving capabilities within Office 365, which still permit emails to be deleted without the ability to restore.
3. Ensure employees send pro-level emails
Have you ever wanted a consistent signature on all emails you send to customers and partners regardless of whether the email came from a PC, Mac, or mobile device? Managed centrally for the whole company or by team? With images always available? With your branding maintained and not modified depending on which device is sending the message?
Amaxra is pleased to now be able to provide this through Crossware Mail Signature for Office 365. This award-winning tool from our partners at Crossware enables you to add and manage signatures, consistent corporate logos, disclaimers, and messages – such as a special customer offer – to every email that you send.
Mail Signature is enabled in three easy steps:
- Step One: The user sends an email, from any device, via their Microsoft Office 365 environment without including a signature
- Step Two: Mail Signature adds a consistent signature to each email according to your defined rules. Correct contact information for each individual is automatically pulled from your directory. This can be set by role, team, location and more.
- Step Three: The email is looped back to your Office 365 environment, to be delivered as either an internal or an external email
4. Keep your corporate directory current
Did you know that over 80% of company directories are missing the core information to make Office 365 successful? This leads to poor user experience, increased IT workload, and hampers the adoption of powerful new applications including Microsoft Teams, Delve, Power BI, Power Apps, and Flow.
Amaxra is partnering with Hyperfish to provide their tools that communicate with users in Office 365 that have missing or incorrect profile information and record changes. Once your directory is accurate, you’ll find that it will be measurably easier for your employees to find the right person in your organization with the right skills needed to complete a project. A solid, accurate corporate directory in Outlook helps your employees understand your organization (e.g. who reports to whom, where they physically sit in the office, and how to easily identify their co-workers.
To that end, Hyperfish also collects current photos – especially important if your workforce is remote – and automatically updates your directory when people change position within your organization. Some of our customers use this Hyperfish directory data to produce accurate Organizational Charts for certain teams or the whole company within various tools such as Microsoft Visio, and directly integrate their Org Chart into their companywide SharePoint sites.
Amaxra offers this service for your organization on an annual charge based on the number of users.
5. Send encrypted but trackable Outlook emails
We all have a love/hate relationship with Microsoft Outlook and wish it had some capabilities that aren’t there. Have you ever wanted the ability to send secure email through Office 365 that you know has been delivered? Amaxra is partnering with RMail to offer to our customers the ability to send registered email. Using this all-in-one email extension for security, compliance, and productivity, our customers get certified proof of delivery of encrypted emails, the ability track when a recipient opens their emails, encrypt large file attachments up to 1GB, auditable proof of compliance, and more. Powered by patented Registered Email™ technology, the RMail extension provides your company with verifiable details of email delivery to support data privacy compliance.
This extension runs seamlessly within a variety of email platforms—Microsoft Outlook, Office 365 Outlook Web Access, and even Gmail—so that you can send emails using your existing email address to any recipient. Because the RMail extension is installed on the client side, you have the option to purchase just for those within your organization who really need it. For example, one of our customers purchased RMail just for the employee who emailed patient x-rays and therefore required compliance with the Privacy Act related to Personally Identifiable Information as well as capability to email extremely large files. At Amaxra, we chose to provide our office team with RMail, because we considered it critical to maintain our cybersecurity.
RMail pricing is based on the number of registered emails you want to send each month and starts at $6.99 for up to 50 registered emails. You purchase this way even if you want to access all the other great capabilities offered by RMail including very large attachments, inbound email security, email tracking, email encryption, and electronic signatures in emails.
6. Gain peace of mind from comprehensive 24 x 7 support
Many small-to-midsized businesses (SMBs) feel some vendors overlook them when it comes to customer support for enterprise cloud services. Amaxra understands that entrepreneurs work constantly to make their businesses successful. To honor those entrepreneurs and the SMBs they founded, Amaxra is now offering 24 x 7 support 365 days per year for all our cloud services.
Our 24 x 7 support service is available in two affordable pricing options. Which option is better for your organization depends how many users you have, or whether you want centrally-managed support or prefer individual users to raise their own support tickets. For example:
- $125 per incident pricing – A great option for small businesses with individual contributors needing on-demand support. This flat fee applies regardless of how long it takes to resolve the issue, whether 10 minutes or 5 hours, or even if an issue requires escalation to Microsoft, adding extra time. Some issues may require more than one incident, but you will be told if this is the case up front.
- $7.50 per user per month on a subscription basis – An excellent option for midsized businesses wanting centrally-managed support for cloud services. The monthly fee is applied for all active users within an organization.
We recommend the per user support option for customers with Skype for Business Telephony, as we find that most problems with properly receiving or placing calls are related to individual user configuration.
For customers choosing the per incident option, we are offering discounts when you purchase a pack of incidents. For each pack of 5 incidents there will be a 5% discount, for 25 incidents a 7.5% discount, and for 50 or more incidents a 10% discount. Whichever option you choose, once purchased you will provided with details on how to contact our support team via email or phone, 24 x 7, 365 days per year.
7. Security Audit
How secure is your cloud-based work environment? Can you be certain your Office 365 is configured to thwart many of the advanced security threats out there today? Most companies answer these nagging security questions by adding Microsoft’s Enterprise Mobility + Security Suite or Intune management into their IT environments. Amaxra offers a two-hour security audit to review your current licensing and make recommendations on how to secure your Office 365 for the low cost of $950.
